Counterfeit cashier's checks were sent to individuals who were announced as winners in a prize lottery giveaway by AMBASSADOR INTERNATIONAL Sweepstakes. The counterfeit check shows Wilshire State Bank branding and corporate logo, but THE AWARD WINNING NOTIFICATION AND CASHIER'S CHECK IS A COUNTERFEIT scam.
The sender of the counterfeit cashier's check is attempting to defraud consumers.
