Announced winner of $450, 000 sweepstakes

My wife received a call that she was a winner of sweepstakes. I spoke to caller and asked him to send something in writing. It arrived couple of days later. No return address, stamped in Canada. Included letter with check for $4, 800 from Tyco Electronics Corp. Letter stated that tax amount on sweepstakes was $3650.00 dollars. Instructed to call claims agent: Oscar Lewis 1778-881-4500 before doing anything. I have seen several similar reports against this company for various scams. If it sounds too good to be true - it is!
