These people send a letter saying their pleased to announce you've won $250, 000, 00 Thats drawn in the Consumer's Promotional Draw, organized by both American and Canadian customers of the following major retailer's e.g. Target, Walmart, Sears, Macy's Home Depot, Zellers etc. Goes on to say my/your name was attached with the serial #... and was drawn out of a computer base. Therefore you are entitled to the preliminary prize of $250, 000, 00 payable to you by a courier company.
Enclosed is a check for $4991.00US, this check has been provided to aide you in the mandatory payment of NON-CANADIAN RESIDENTIAL TAX, insurance and delivery charges pertaing to your $250, 000, 00. And it should be noted that you are not required to make any payment by way of your own finances, In order to collect your winnings you must first contact claim agent Karen Cooper at 604-729-8348 .Hours of operation M-F 7a-6p.

At the very bottom is a picture of Carl H.Lindner President 1-778-881-0246. Now if you look up mr. Lindner, he's listed in Forbes and he's president of quite a few things, not this. I called Karen Cooper and she says hold on while she gets your file but as soon as you ask about Linda Zuraling, disconnect. I called back and played dumb she said she'd ask Linda if she could give out her number.
Anyway people, I realize times are hard but this is a cold-hearted scam aimed at the desperate. I called Better Business Bureau and the lady said there was at least 2 calls a day about these people. So you've been warned hopefully not too late!
