TRIED TO SCAM ME, TOO Toronto

Just like Peter Medal of Glendale Arizona, the notorius "Larry Pizzaro" just tried to rip me off, also, in a response for my posting to rent out rooms for the Obama inauguration ceremony in mid-January in Washington, D.C.

I guess I should have been tipped off by the fact that the guy claimed neither to be interested in Obama's inauguration or the dates for rental I had listed, but said he wanted my place for the first week of February.

Here is what he wrote me in his first email on Jan. 9:

Hello, I am Larry, from Toronto Canada.42yrs Medical Doctor. I'm coming over to your location for a short training & research. I got your apt. advert on the Criagslist and i am interested in taking the place for one week.from the FEB 1... 7.Please get back to me as soon as you can with: the final asking price for the one week. I will await your response as soon as possible..

When I responded, here is what he wrote back:

Hey,
Thank you for your prompt reply. I am satisfied with your price and
condition.
I donot smoke and donot have any pet and no kid and its just me alone
coming..I have got a few machines, books and luggage for my research and
training. I would like have the place booked urgently, as my sponsor will
issue a Certified Bank Check/Cashier as a mode of payment for full
payment: So kindly get back to me with:
1.Full name to issue payment to
2.Full Address to mail payment to.
3.working phone #s.
Send me the address of the place i am renting so i can look it up on the
google map. As soon as all these have been emailed to me, payment will be
overnight to you. Waiting to read from you.

So when I googled his name on the Web, I found all these references to his fraudulent check scheme at your website.
