Fraud, tried to ABUSE AND MISUSE... Didnt work! MB

Be aware... FRAUD!!!

I received a check 10/28/2008 in the mail for $3, 975.00 along with a letter which stated that I won $98, 000.00. The letter stated that I was a winner of of a drawing that was conducted by North American Sweepstakes Association, I was randomly picked through ballot system. CONGRATULATIONS!!..yeah right!

The letter gives me very detailed instructions on how i am to claim my prize money. It states I am to 1st before i act on this letter to get in contact with my claim agent Ben Braimoh for further instructions on how to claim my winnings within 15 business days.

This letter also states trhe 3975.00 US dollars is a portion of my winnings and is available for me to pay the Non Resident Govt Service Tax payable to my tax agent... which listed as MS. Peggy Woods addr of 82nd Ave. Suite 29-527 Winnipeg, MB R2B 3 B8, Canada..That the payment method was Moneygram or Western Union.

Oh, yes this check at a 1st glance looks so real..but yet in real life I knew better when I opened it up and when you win money you should never have to send money to receive your money if taxes are needed to be paid out to the GOV..oh believe you me they are take them out before you ever get your money... not make you send in money.

I did call in though just to see I spoke with Ben Braimoh and that was the question I asked him/her who ever it is I spoke with... If I won that much money why dont you just go ahead and take the taxes out of it and pay them that way I dont have to send any money, he stated that oh because you have to send the money to receive the rest of you winning without that money you cant receive the rest of your prize money... Hello can you say SCAM..This is very uncalled for, honest people trying to make a living, by working and just praying to GOD that we can actually win 1.00 let alone someone trying to stab our back and get our hopes up that 98000.00 really is what we got... nah, never have won anything never will... but i do have my diginity and self respect and that is a lot more than what these companies can say for themselves.
