Ultimate Betrayal

My partner suddenly moved out on me in the middle of June 2008. On the day she left, she stole approximately $6, 000 dollars from two bank accounts and a credit card before I could secure everything. She also took my brand new digital camera worth about $450.00

In addition, we had taken out a loan of approximately $12, 000.00 in June of 2007 to pay off her mortgage on a house she owned in another city. Despite her assurances she would help me pay this loan, she has now left me responsible for it, and it will take five years for me to pay off a debt that belongs to her.

She has completely broken off all communication with me and the legal advice I have recieved so far has been lacking. Her selfishness, fraud, and theft have left me in a perrilous financial position and could eventually cause me to claim bankruptcy if I cannot turn things around in the next six months.

This betrayal of my trust was not only an act of cowardice, but was also a form of pattern behaviour on her part. As far as I know, she has pulled this stunt on at least one other man but I am sure there were a few others. Several days before she left, she joked about taking a lot of one man's money. An individual she dated from this same region several years ago.

Her actions are both unfair and calculatingly cold, and I feel she should have to be made responsible for her actions.
