Received letter of A$250, 000 winning and a $2985 check

I just received in the mail a letter from Imperial Platinum Inc telling me that I have won $250, 000 and they have been trying to reach me for days to give me my winnings. They enclosed a check for $2985.00 and told me not to cash the check until I call a Yolanda King in their claims department. Thank god that I googl'd this company and found this web site otherwise I would have possibly cashed this check and made a ridiculous phone call to Canada.
