Inc. Offer to become a secret shoppe

I received an offer, by mail, to become a secret shopper for this company. Enclosed i found instructions to call for detailed instructions and a check in the amount of $2750.00.

I called and spoke to a woman named Jina, we went over the details. She said to call her as soon as the check cleared my bank and that they would activate the funds and give me further instructions.

I thought it sounded odd, but decided to deposit the check anyway. I took it to my credit union and deposited it into a small business checking account I have and they put a 10 day hold on it (there regular Policy).

On March 14th, my account showed the check returned and that the account it was to draw from was closed. Ok, the alarm bells went off in my head and I contacted my credit union, the better business bureau (filed a report with them), and you website.

I was very lucky, my credit union was watching out for me. They are mailing the canceled check back to me and I intend to contact the bank on the check to inform them of the fraud. I also intend to hang on to all information I have received should anyone need proof or a witness to bring these people down.
