Lotto Scam - Don't be fooled!

I recieved a letter in the mail with a check and it said I had won a lottery, and to call this number. I did and the man Walter Hilton, released the check and he told us to go and cash it. I went and cashed it and the bank cleared the check on the spot and gave me the cash. I was then told to go to Walmart and fill out a form, (money gram) and wire the money to Ottawa, Canada to a lady named Theresa Hamilton. (Jan.8.08)

On Jan.8.07 he stated that he was waiting for the money to clear customs and he would call us with the tracking number from UPS.

(Jan.9.07) I called him again and he stated that the courier would be calling me today with the tracking number which he mentioned we could call UPS and find out when the check would be arriving at our home and there was no worries this was a good check and we were winners. Since then I got nervous and looked it up online and found out that this is all a scam and has happened to other people and someone else actually put the entire letter on the internet just like mine!

When checking my bank account a few days later, I realized that there was a hold on my account for $3, 495.65!!! which is the amount of the check I deposited and withdrew to send through money gram at Walmart. So not only is this a scam about the lotto winnings but come to find out that the account the check was written from was closed so they are taking "MY MONEY" equaling $3, 495.65 out of my account because the check was a fraudulant check. So I am now out this money. I am so upset and willing to do whatever it takes to take these people down.

Any lawyers out there that want to take this case, write back. If there is anyone out there that knows how I can get my money back, please let me know.
