Scammed fraud

I got a letter in the mail saying I won $450, 000 in an international sweepstakes in a drawing that was held on March 16th, 2007. There was a check for $4750.00 in the envelope and a phone number to call. I was to ask for Willie Johnson. I did all of the steps, but I knew it was something wrong with this process so I googled the Company and saw that i was a scam. I then called the number and Got an individual that sounded like he was an African because of the accent he had. He told me to deposit the check and call him back when I did. I had better sense than that, but I called the number back and told him I had deposited the check trying to get some more information for the police. He told me to wait until the check cleared and to send them $3500.00 and $100 fee. I didn't do it, of course, but I wanted to get the FBI involved and didn't know how.
