Rip off check scam Morriston ONT. N0B2C3 or New Jersey

Received a check for $4880.00 from the Waterhouse Financial. I called the number and a Nigerian accent under the name of Bob Morris answered. He asked me for my phone number which I gave him (a fake number) then he asked me my claim number which I gave him off the letter. He told me to deposit the check and call him back. I waited about 30 min and called him back. NOT ONCE DID HE EVER ASK FOR MY NAME. Bob instructed me to send the tax money in the amount of $2985.00 to a Ms Linda Allen at 150 2nd Ave, In Ottawa Canada. I called information and there is no Commerce Bank in Ramsey, NJ the account is a fake. THIS IS A SCAM... There check will bounce, your check to them will bounce, the bank comes looking for you for the $2985.00. THROW it AWAY..Ms Linda Allen has been listed in other people's ripoff and so has Bob!!!

Also look at the envelope. There is no return address. If they want to give you $250, 000.00 you would think you would be more than Sir/Madam on the letter head. Play with them if you want but becareful it is a SCAM!!!
