My girlfriend recieved a letter today stating she had won u.s. 30, 000 dollars and inclosed was a check for 3, 000 to cover taxes and fees. It sounds like the same scam as the others have reported on this site. Deposit check then send it western union and they will release the 27, 000 still owed to you. This scam seemed believable and was drawn on a real check with water-mark and ligit bank. This is a scam and thanks to this site we all know it now. Inorder to save other people the disapointment of this scam we have turned over the letter to the postmaster general as well as the local FBI for investigation so will update with any further info that comes of this.
