I recieved a letter in the mail along with a check telling me I had won $42, 000us dollars. The check was for $2981.83 asking me to contact them before i cashed the check. I called and i did speak with a real person the verified my information and said yes it was true that i had won the money and notify them when i cash the check, so they could give me further information. I called the bank myself and they told me that the check had been paid like 12 months ago. I took the check to the police department to see was it real or was it fraud. I don't know what they thought they was getting from me but they got nothing. I hope they catch up with who ever is doing this type of thing. I will help anybody if i can to track who ever is doing this b/c some people are going to jail because they cashed these checks and weren't able to repay the money back.
