I received a cashiers check in the amount of $4968.00, to shop and rate businesses on their quality of service, etc. I was then to deposit check in my bank, which I did. After waiting for check to clear, I withdrew enough to shop at designated stores and also to send the bulk of the money back to company. I was to Western Union $2640.00, and Moneygram $1320.00. After all transactions were done, I was to wait for another check..ha ha.
My Bank called and informed me that the Cashiers Check that I deposited in my account was counterfiet, costing me and my family over $5000.00. This right on the heels of my husband being diagnosed with cancer and having surgery.
I'm not sure our family will be able to recover from this financially.
