I received a valid looking check for $3500, which was to pay a tax and clearance fee for my $165, 000 Lotto winnings.
I was to cash the check and send the money to them. Out of 8, 000, 000 names, my name won in the third category. Just like everybody else. I was to contact my "agent" of Excel Disbursment Company, a subsidiary of British Lottery Commission.
They spelled subsidiary "subsicidiary".
Of course if I had done this, I would have been out the $3500 plus bank penalties.
