, Mike Brown Lousy Scam - Sent me a check for $2980.00, then wanted it back!

This is the latest in a series of scams to hit northern Wisconsin. Nearly all have been from Canada - Ottowa and Toronto mainly - and they all send checks. I guess since we live close to the border they must think we're stupid or poor. Mike Brown is the man to call.

In fact flood this number 011 861 371 136 4324 with calls. I've done this in the past and they hate it. Tell the check bounced and they'll fall all over themselves with excuses.

But this is a poor a scam as there is. No fine paper, no exciting greetings and a Lexmark printed check. It is truly sad. The letter says "... payable to you and MUST be deposited into your bank account..." - sounds like a way to get your personel info.
