Salon ripoff harassment threats belligerant McMaster University Hairtastic Salon

Just to let everyone know about the scam I encountered today at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, I'll make it short and simple.
I was approached in our student centre by a woman who's marketing company was supposedly hired by Hairtastic Salon in Hamilton through Ad-Efx and told about the lovely deal that for only $47 I could get $500 worth of salon treatments because it was a new salon who desperately needed clients and good word of mouth. When I said I had to think about it, she told me she was going to follow me to the bank machine (major red light) so to get her the money I owed her just because I wrote my mailing address down (for junk mail purposes she told me) but that ultimately meant to her that I owed her the $47.

I just walked away and dodged her. I later got a call from my roommate stating their claim to take legal action within 24 hours if I did not pay! I called them from work and stated I did not want to purchase the $47 coupon worth X-amount of dollars from choices A-D in a voicemail message. Phone call received a few hours later at work from "manager" of Ad-Efx and he was extremely threatening and harassing. I was told they will come to my place of residence the following morning (tomorrow AM actually!) and "deal" with the situation as I have committed theft of $1000!!! Also, he threw in that the police will come shortly after to arrest me.

These people are disgusting for what they do and how they do it. More so the fact that they cause such anxiety in people that they exploit due to their malevolent threats and harassment.
