THREATENING LETTERS FROM LEGAL DEPT AFTER THEY DIDNT LIST 25 DAYS IN TERMS AND CONDITIONS

I ordered a free trial of Striaex Anti-Stretch Mark Cream. I received it in the mail about two weeks after I ordered it. On April 29th, 2008 I received an email saying that I had to pay $198.98 for the two bottles they sent me.

I tried calling them, but only got their voicemail saying that the only way to contact them was online through their website. So I emailed them from there and got a reply that since it was past the 25 days and I didn't return the product I had to pay for it. However, the 25 day rule is NOT listed under the terms and conditions that I had to accept. The terms and conditions are like a contract and are legally binding, but the 25 day rule wasn't listed there.

After I spoke to an attorney on the phone, he instructed me to call my bank and tell them that that particular purchase was not authorized to protect my money. He also told me to contact the company again and clearly let them know that I intended to return the product, which I did. "Mike" from customer service emailed me back again and told me that I should keep the product because it was already late and would not help me get a refund. My attorney told me to call in the morning since they were closing when I called to set up a meeting with his secretary which I'm going to do. I got a threatening letter from the legal department of Striaex threatening to prosecute me because calling my bank and blocking charges is a fraudulent claim. Pretty much it's all a great big scam. They only care about money and ripping people off!

They need to be stopped and should have a class action lawsuit! Anyone willing to push for it?
