Wu-Yi Source, Living Lean Program
Fraudulent, unethical, False advertising of "free" trial sample, enrolling puts you on Autoship status and you are charged for the "free sample" if you withdraw from the scam Sherwood Park

Health & Medicine

I would have to say that this is probably a crap product/company that needs to fraudulently advertise a "free sample" of its product to make a buck, then force a client to pay for a months supply when they withdraw from the autoship status on which they are placed.

I saw an online advertisement for the Wu-Yi Source weight loss tea, and since it was a "free" trial offer, I only had to pay for the shipping. Of course, after giving them my credit card number to pay for the shipping charges, I had no access to my "account" with them, pretty much ensuring that when I cancelled my "autoship" status, they could access my account and charge me for the "free" sample. (which, by the way, they tell you is for 2 weeks, then they charge you for a months supply)

After I had thought my order didn't go through due to what looked like an error on the site (I didn't receive a confirmation email, either) I received the following email:

Thank you for visiting our website to learn more about the new WuYi Tea weight loss system that has been all over the news including 60 Minutes and the NBC Today show. People all over the world are raving about this new weight loss solution.

We noticed that you did not complete your trial order of WuYi Tea for only $4.95, and we wanted to do everything we can to help. To complete your order in two minutes or less, just visit:

Also, when you dial the 1-866 number, you can't even talk to a live person, instead, it directs you to email the company...

I can only imagine what I would have been charged had I tried to "enroll" again. As a business person and a teacher of ethics, I think this is really an unethical practice and false advertising, though apparently I did agree to the terms and conditions, though, once again, I never received a confirmation email that I was going to receive the product. So, BEWARE, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is...

Stay AWAY from Wu-Yi Source "Living Lean" - I am also going to complain to the website/e-letter that advertises this, as well as to the Better Business Bureau...
