Maximum Fitness has also charged my card on three seperate occassions. They are also doing this by their own admission to many other people. I went in for a refund (supposedly) 7 weeks ago and they gave me a paper credit slip because their electronic terminal was "unavailable". Obviously, as I confirmed with my bank today, Maximum Fitness never submitted the credit slip. They never intended on doing so. I went again a few weeks ago and spoke with David Rysinski who ensured me that they sent in the credit slip and he would personally look into the matter. Obviously this was also a lie.

It would be interesting to know how many people were double and triple charged by Maximum Fitness and Optimum Fitness. I wish I discovered this site earlier. I would have never joined this scam of a gym. The best way to fight them is for everyone to forgo the refund and report them directly to Visa. If enough people do this, they will lose their merchant account and not be able to do any Visa/Mastercard or Debit transactions.
