Defective dining chairs

As my son was sitting peacefully eating breakfast this morning, his chair collapsed from beneath him! He hit his face on the table, causing a lot of blood to pour from his nose. We purchased 10 (or 11?) dining chairs from the Brick in 2017 for $99 each, with a 5 year warranty. Before the warranty was up, almost all the chair's front legs had broken off from simple every day use--simply sitting on them to eat! The Brick did replace them, but they replaced them with the exact same chairs, which had the same defective loosening front legs. We try to tighten the screws daily, but they just come loose because the pine wood is too soft to hold them with ANY weight on them. My opinion is that these chairs were designed for show homes where NO ONE actually sits on the chairs. One of the new chairs actually came with a nail or screw poking partly through the back vinyl, which has not only ripped people's pants, but also scraped people. I finally taped a piece of plastic over the screw so we could still use the chair!! This was one of the replacement chairs given for a broken chair, so it was not eligible for replacement. Of the original 10, eight years later, only 2 are still standing and only 5 of the replacement chairs are still standing. One already has a wobbly leg (which I am tightening) though, so it will probably go in a few months too. The chairs' design is totally defective, and now my son got hurt because of it.
