I called Solo to see if I could pay off the one contract ($300) and have the other 2 contracts reinstated, they said no. It has been past 90 days and your bill is behind. I am frustrated and annoyed that they are helping my husband ruin me, when I have worked so hard to build my credit.

Category General question
Comment I am going through a divorce and couldn't afford to have the phones running up a bill. My x-husband was the one who signed up the contracts. I did cancel the contracts and tried to have him pay them but he hasn't. I am now paying a little bit each month. I am now going to need 2 phones and am wondering if I pay out the one contract can I reinstate the other 2 contracts? I don't have any of the phones either, my x-husband took them, would solo be willing to add 2 phones? Please respond to kearney194@hotmail.com. Thanks; K

In September 2008, I couldn't afford 3 billes and asked for them to ask my exhusband to take over the contracts. Since he was the one who over the phone signed up for 3 contracts and it was under my credit and I wasn't asked about it. He wouldn't pay the bills and Solo wouldn't go after them. I had to terminate the contracts. He also took all the phones, I just got stuck with the bill, but Solo didn't care.

Once I started making headway with all the bills left behind I started putting $25.00 on the bill (twice a month), which is still billing $16.00 more per month. I am a single mother with bills to pay and trying to get out of the whole. It's not fair he could take all the phones, run them up and leave me the bill. I feel like a used dishrag.

Good day Miss
Thank you for using Solo Mobile's Internet Customer Care. My name is Claude. I have read your message and I am pleased to assist you. I wish to clarify that each line has a contract. Therefore, cancelling two lines out of three would generate twice the cancellation charge previously discussed. Thank you for choosing Solo Mobile as your wireless communications provider. I hope to have answered your questions. Don't hesitate to e-mail us again at: https://www.solomobile.ca/Default.aspx#/Contact-Us/Contact-Us.aspxHave a really nice day. But I am not cancelling my contract I would just be down sizing to one phone. So wouldn't I still be keeping the contract? Thanks;
