This is the letter I received March 26, 2007

Attention: My Name (Carole)

We are a yster Customer employment firm that specialized in the assisting of corporations on how to improve customer service to their clientele: we represent 500 firms with more to come we utiize a method known as mystery shopping to achieve this goal.

They claim its a paid training assignment of course contingent on you completing the assignment you have been given. They enclosed a check in the amount of $4, 982.00, (supposedly a cashier's check). Upon receipt of the check you have to call the 705-770-3602 number and tell them that you got the check. When you call you get what sounds like professional voice message telling you to punch in 102 for one of the Assignment coordinators

The check is broken down as follows: $600 is for you (the poor sap who thinks the check is good until you deposit it - and that included me, too).

You are intstruced to make a purchase at Walmart $50.00
Gap Purchase - $40.00
Western Union Transfer - $2, 620.00 (that should have tipped me off)
Service charge for the Western Union $139.00
Moneygram transfer $1458.00 (Another alarm should have gone off)
Service charge for Moneygram $75.00

They even have the nerve to have a Code of Business Conduct and Ethics! LOL! Business Conduct to rip people off!

When my bank told me that the check was no good, I called them back and told them that the check was bad, the response I got was "someone will call you back", that was 3 weeks ago! Not holding my breath.
