Ripoff My mom has lung cancer and now we are losing everything because we deposited the check and there are checks bouncing everywhere she will never be able to pay them off Nationwide

We recieved the letter on aug 5 after we called the monica smith and she stated yes it wasn't a scam and that as soon as the taxes were recieved they would send the remainder of the money 80, 199.00

I even told her how my mother had lung cancer not from smoking and she was only 36 years old and how she had raised me and my two brothers by herself and how much she deserved this. If anyone did, it was my mom. And she replied with well you can take her on a nice vacation. Mom made sure we could put it in her name and she reassured her that everything would be ok. My mom said I will believe it when I cash the check we then went and deposited and cashed some of the check that day our bank checked it the account was there then.

So we went and paid doctor bills and bills for month and we even made out a list of what school stuff we could get with the rest of the money. We were so excited. It's me 15 my brother 14 and my oldest brother 19, he's in college and now he won't get to stay in the dorms for college and might not get to go this year because mom doesn't have the money now because of all the lost money from the scam.

Anyways we supposedly won with 17 other people and the amount to be split was 1, 453, 500.00 and the amount we would get was the 80, 199.00. Of course after taxes and the amount would be wired to my account so they have one of my account numbers yes I was that stupid.

All I have to say is how sorry can you get to take advantage of a 36 year old woman who has lung cancer. Sust lost a lung in surgery and lost her home because she couldn't work as a nurse anymore and has to live on disability which is 706.00 a month not a week like she was used to and is raising 3 kids off of that and trying to get them the best education you can get them on that salary.

This woman knew all of this and still stayed on the phone at least hang up and not trail them on what a bi**h. I hope she rots in hell and if anyone finds them please email me because I want to see justice. Oh and by the way the check did not bounce until this morning. The account had been closed by the time the check got to their bank. Now my mom is out 1000s of dollars instead of rich 85, 000. Yeah like that ever happens. I hope there is a GOD
