Ripoff Sent a letter with a bogus check worth $3950.00 stating that I had won some kind of jackpot CANADA

We have been instructed by the Gambling Corporation to inform you of the release of you Unclaimed Prize money held on 7th september 2003. Due to technical set back with their Database System, they delayed the release of you prize winning.

SUBJECT: FUNDS FOR PAYMENT OF PROCESSING FEES

Enclosed is cashier's check that you contact our office at extention 1 or 2 from Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm est, in order for us to authorize release and furthermore to instruct you how to make payment to your Online Gambling Agent. Basically, the check is bogus they con you into sending the money that you receive from cashing the bogus check to these agents and tell you you are going to get the remainder of you winnings by do so. The check is about $3950.00 which they claim to be portion of a larger amount
