I came to Life Mates last August. After over a decade of Internet personals, $1000's on subscriptions and posting profiles with endless browsing which brought nothing but disappointment trying to meet members of the opposite Sex, I thought this would be different. I admit the one on one approach was a nice touch and my three hour intake with a trained professional discussing relationship goals and gathering data felt promising. However, I noticed there was no mention of price yet. At the end of my intake I got my answer. There is about six packages ranging from the lowest most basic package for about $3000 for five referrals to the high end package which runs about $9000 for unlimited referrals and life coaching so they say. I took the lowest with a basic photo shoot for about $3500 with tax financed at 21% for 12 payments at just under $300 a month. This is basically five hand selected Matches or phone numbers for me to call and set up my blind date. The first two numbers that I recieved and called where a dead end. I got voicemail and left messages and recieved No call back from my matches which I reorted and they don't really have much control over. All they can do is set you up with another phone number. I did have an issue with them over billing me right off the bat three months payments in a month which they did acknowledge and rectify fairly quickly, they're compensation was to waive the financing. However, the next referral who I actually talked to and met was a really bad match. I have since payed my membership up and did just receive my next referral who I spoke with last night and felt that I had absolutely nothing in common with. I have had 0 succees to this point and will chaulk this one up to experience. So, If your thinking about Lifemates? Think Again! It's nothing but a moneymaking smoke and mirrors show at your expense.
