ABF Rip off, Hidden Fees, Illegal Operations, Rude, Unprofessional, Avoid them like the Plague!!!

At the last minute my reservation was changed from using 3 "relo-cubes" which would have been plenty, to having a trailer brought to my home. They said the price would be the same, but they had just run out of cubes. Not understanding at the time how large the trailer actually is, I said fine. The delivery man shows up a day early with a massive semi trailer!! Originally I was going to have the relo-cubes placed on my parking pad in the back but this this was huge. The driver suggested we just put it on the street in front of my home saying "that's what we usually do". Fine I said, though I knew my neighbors would have a fit. Sure enough, later that day the parking patrol shows up and puts a ticket on the trailer! I laughed about it until i called Upack and they told me I'd be responsible for all tickets!

So what she's telling me is that they park these things illegally on the street "all the time" and fail to mention to the customers that it's illegal and that the customer has to pay all the fines!!! I couldn't believe what I was hearing! Naturally I asked that they come pick it up and that I preferred to work with a company that was upfront with their customers and WORKED WITHIN THE CONFINES OF THE LAW! Sure enough the parking patrol came back and I got 2 more tickets before they were able to pick up the trailer. Unbelievable!!

Do your self a favor and just get a real moving company to work with.
