Poor Service

I hired Andrew Segovia Enterprises, Ottawa Ontario for what I thought was a 3 day interior paint job. A proposal was made but not noted in the proposal was lack of detailed surface preparation which led to most of the problems which arose in this disaster of a paint job. The paint finish used was an eggshell finish, not listening to my advisce re by a decorator that I hired, who suggested a matte finish on all walls which would hide a lot of the impurfections. Highlights of paint job, - poor surface preparation, no attention to detail, filthy drop sheets, dirty ladders - left marks on wall and mess all over carpets and floors, no clean up at all. They had a small shop vac but never used it in the 2 days they were there. The cutting was dried before paint rolled on the walls, they could not remember where they left off re cutting and if second coat was on, no second coat in some areas. The worst part was that they left very noticeable roller marks on several walls, like the main entrace, living room walls, hall walls etc. Paint spilt everywhere, on rugs, and top of kitchen cupboards. One painter stood on my fireplace to paint the wall. Rough patches not sanded properly and just painted over, nail holes not fixed and just painted over. I could go on and on. Several people had visited my home after this and could not believe the poor paint job. The job was rushed into 2 days instead of 3. After 2 months, Andrew himself came back and tried to correct the errors made but to no avail. I have contacted the company over 3 months ago for compensation as it all has to be repainted but not again by College Pro Painters and the Better Business Bureau was also notified. Todate no action has been taken by College Pro. I am still in the process of dealing with them.

Please never hire this Company.
