Fraudulent Company

Cars & Transport

They charge $500 (ish) dollars and say that if you do not sell your vehicle within 90 days, they will refund you $400 ish (the $100 is supposed to be an advertising fee).

First of all, when I signed up with them, they said to wait for an email that would give me my login information... that never came. But I sure received the email confirmations that the money had been charged to my visa right away. A couple of days later, I emailed them to ask them if they could phone me/email me my information as I had not received it yet. No answer. So I phoned about 3 days later and they told it to me on the phone and said they would email it again... which didn't happen.

Once I logged in, I found the "fine print" pages and discovered I have to send in a "Refund Registration Form" within seven days, by registered mail, which was NOT disclosed to me at the time of my purchase. Keep in mind, I could not log in for 5 or 6 days. I did this and phoned in to receive confirmation they had me registered.

Shortly after I also found out on their "fine print" pages that I have to upload a picture of the vehicle within 14 days of signing up... again, keep in mind that I did not have login information for almost a week. But I did it.

I didn't receive ONE inquiry regarding my vehicle, which was at a lower price than ALL of the other vehicles of it's kind/shape in the area (I was only looking to get rid of it, not make money on it).

While reading the fine print about getting my refund, I discovered that I had to have a piece of my insurance or something to prove the vehicle was still mine (the leasing company's), get it notarized and send it in within seven days... by registered mail. Which I also have done along with their form they request you fill out. Only, they ask for your credit card number, which I wrote down, as I was under the understanding that they would refund the money onto my credit card... NOPE.

I phoned about a week after they received my refund reqest only to find out that they do not refund by credit card but by cheque and I would have to wait 4 - 6 weeks to receive it! So my credit card number/expiry was out wandering in the mail (I know, not the smartest thing, but I wanted my refund!) I of course cancelled that credit card immediately and ordered a new one.

Well, after waiting passed the 6 weeks I got upset. I lodged a complaint with the BBB who has been in correspondence with both the company and I for over 2 MONTHS! I keep getting, "Just wait 3 weeks." Then it was another three weeks. Then it was just one more week. Well, that was two weeks ago! It doesn't seem even lodging a complaint with the BBB gets anything done either. I'm STILL waiting...
