Credit card scam, ripoff of families who need to rebuild their credit

I was called on a Saturday by this company Simple Choice. They talked a good line. So I listened and they went on and on how for $249.00 they could help me rebuild my credit and that they would start me out at a $3600 credit limit and as I paid my payment that they could raise it up to $10, 000.00 over a period of time.

So, I took the bait since we were trying to rebuild our credit after a horrible accident my husband had and we gave them our bank information.

About 10 days later I got a charge from Protel for $59.90 and when I called to inquire they told me sorry too bad too sad we won't refund your money.

I start becoming supecious when this happens but I thought that they talked so fast and gave me so much information I thought maybe i oked it and didn't realize it. So I continue to wait.

I never received anything and when I tried to call the number they had blocked my area from calling them. I then contacted my bank and when we paid closer attention to my acount they had been withdrawing small sums from my account.

I contacted my attorney generals consumer complaint department and reported it. Not counting closing my bank account. Which if you have ever had it happen to you, it's a big pain.

That's when i found out that I was probab;y lucky by stopping it when I did. The bank said they would refund my money and persue charges because for being a small town they had received 15 complaints on the same company in the last 30 days.
