On September 14th I received this bogus check along with a letter from a bogus company name, the check was written on Heritage Oaks Bank in Santa Maria, California, The name on the check is RUSSCO with the addressof 2240 Thornburg St. Santa Maria, CA 93455.
I really do wish these people would be caught up with, this is a very harmful scam for people who are greedy for money and gullable, this would be an easy trap for them, so please investigate these thing for yourself, especially when you receive a check in the mail thats unfamiliar to you.
I contacted the bank to inform them of these scam, they were very appreciative, though they were already aware of it, there is also another address on the letter of 1600 Rue Albert Street, Ottawa, ontario, K1RoA5, what ever that is.
