, Dimension Group, Elizabeth P. Whitmore, Beverly Patricks Secret Shopper or Secret Frauder?

I recieved a letter addressed to me personally from DIMENSION RESEARCH INC, telling me that I was chosen from a group of individuals selected from various profiles on Canada Job Bank and JobCanada. Indeed I do have profiles on various work sites allowing potential employers to contact me.
So far that part is legit. So I thought.
Inclosed was a check, too depot this check in your local bank and tranfers money too a fictitious person supposedly related too me. This is too test the WESTERN UNION customer service.
I really found that odd. A mailed check was indeed sent too me. But the amounts in the letter was off, so I contacted my project co-ordinator via e-mail, and she answered me back with the corrected amounts and that the check was now clear to be deposited and to go fourth with my TEST.
I checked out their website and it does have one, but no contact numbers. That page is blank. Umm. Odd, but still I am unsure. I tell myself too tread carefully, maybe just deposit the check and see if it clears?
If it does not, well thats the answer. And if it clears, well I'm sure the banking system is not that easily duped, so it should be OK after.
