We sign up for italk BB and we have 30 days trial. When we receive the modem, I made contact with them, found out that my other phones in the house can't even use it because it is for phones set uses. On the package they even got the name wrong. Didn't use their line.
Contacting them is so hard. They have customer representive who speak Cantonese, Mandarin and english. One night my mother had contact them, she end up having a customer representive who can only speak Mandarin. My mother have basic understanding and speaking in Mandarin. She requested that she wants to speak with someone who speek in Cantonese. Guess what, the Customer representive refuese the request and won't even transfer the call to another department. Took awhile to get another contact number.
When I was able to speak with someone in Cantonese, I found out that they have my Mother name and my email adress wrong. I was wondering why I hadn't receive any formal email from them. We decided to cancle, everytime I call, they said the cancellation department is busy and will get back to us ASAP (didn't believe they will but they actually did). Whenever I spoke to one of customer representive, I find it that they had hard time following what I'm trying to tell them and when I wait for their reply they give me all these nonsense knowledge that I already know and had been explaining to them about that problems.
Very badly train customer service in my opion because I work as a customer service. They don't even voluntery give us customer enough knowlegde about how their phone service work when we first made contact, the guy just wants to hurry get our info and be done with it.
When the Cancellation department call, told them I just want to cancle because we weren't able to use their modem. The customer keep on insisting that it is cheap compare to other phone company (when stuff is cheap, it is to good to be true) and recommend to get phone set (what I'm going to do with the other phones if I got the phone set). I said I just wants to cancle and he kept on insisting, finally told the guy that their customer representive sucks and their product is not to our liking. Find out that I have to paid $9.99 for the 1min use when their tech was telling us how to set up the modem. I thought that we got a free 30 day trial. Decided to go through with the Cancellation process before they mess up our phone line and billing.
If anyone decided to sign up with them I recommend that get all the facts from them first, double check with them and make sure that they understand every word that is being said to them. In my opinion, don't bother signing up with their company so much hassel to go through because their customer representive communcation sucks, might even mess up your contract and billing too.
