Fort Garry Hotel Scam
"It smells of DEATH"
I am a female who worked at the Fort Garry Hotel in Winnipeg,
222 Broadway Winnipeg, MB R3C 0R3 (204) 942-8251
This quote "it smells like death" is an actual quote
from one of the female cooks, while cutting up the
roast beef, for servings onto the plates. The whole
back kitchen area smelled like a slaughter house while
they were carving the roast beefs, I have never before
in my entire life smelled beef this bad, and this is
what they are serving customers at functions.
How do they treat their staff, if you think the horrible
roast beef smelling of death is bad, the banquet staff are
not even given a meal nor grattuities, where does the
percent go and were talking thousands and thousands of
dollars every large function, to the crooked banquet
managers. Staff are paid minimum wage for 9 months at $10.00
while other hotels are paying $14.85 right on starting.
Do they waste food, one night a whole 6 foot table of fruits
was just thrown in the garbage can, not even out a few hours
nothing wrong with it, what about the homeless starving people?
The banquet staff are almost all under age not even able to serve
wine, your being served by little kids with no experience.
Many big functions there is never enough soup for the entire room,
banquet staff washing their hands after going to the bathroom,
Nobody in Banquets washes their hands in protest of poor wages,
and not getting meals, and new staff being hired are told by the
senior banquet staff not to wash their hands after using the
bathrooms, People should know what they are paying for at the
marvelous Fort Garry Hotel.
