Great Canadian Giveaways is not a registered company in the Province of Alberta. It is a name that is used on marketing and by marketers for Royal Club International (which is facing crimial charges for misleading consumers, refusing refunds and operating a travel club without a license) and Chateau World Resorts (which shares physical addresses with Royal Club Internatioal in Calgary, Edmonton and Canmore).
The "giveaways" are usually a digital camera (although this can easily change to another seemingly valuable prize) and a stay at the Banff Gate Mountain Lodge & Spa in Canmore- (there is also indicators that suggest that offers are also made for Chateau Canmore) and are given - only in exchange for attending a sales presentation for Chateau World Resorts or Royal Club International.
Some people who have been called by "Great Canadian Giveaways" have ben told that they entered a draw at a recent trade show. Many of those called had not attended any tradeshows.
