Premier Fitness is shutting down, after having ripped off its customers for years. I am posting this as a warning to former members who might want to join Extreme Fitness instead. They are just as bad. I cancelled my membership through multiple, parallel methods (voicemail, fax, email) and explicitly stated that they no longer had authorization to charge my credit card. They kept charging for months afterward, deliberately bypassing the credit card company's methods of blocking them. I had to pay the card off and close the account. Then they turned a fictional debt over to a collection agency!
In terms of ethics and business practices, this company is an inch short of a loan shark.
