I purchased a stove and fridge from Leons. As it was being delivered I noticed a large chip and a scratch on the front corner of the stove - very obvious. I told the delivery folks that was no good, they would have to take it back. I told them they should have opened the box at the warehouse to ensure the goods were not damaged. They said they never do that. The advised me to take the stove, they would not the damage on the delivery receipt and Leons would send out a replacement after I called the following business day. No deal - Leons says all sales on applicances are FINAL. Concealed damage is not reson for a return (this is hardly "concealed"). They offered me $150 and a bottle of touch up paint. Not what I thought I was buying! The sales person never mentioned 'final sale' to me at the time of the purchase. I will NEVER buy anything at Leon's again. Ellen Scott, Edmonton, AB
