I purchased a 6 month old puppy from this breeder. I drove over 200 miles to the breeders in a snow storm in January. When I arrived, I found the puppy to be wet as he had just been bathed. He must have been very dirty otherwise why would a breeder bath a puppy that might be going to a new home 200 miles away on a cold and stormy January day?
I could see that this puppy had not been well cared for and my only thought was to give him a good home. He was not socialized and to this day, nine years later, I am the only person he will allow to touch him.
When I took him to my Vet, he found a tumor behind one ear, four types of worms and sores all over his body from not being groomed.
I contacted Bonnie and she agreed to pay for the Vet treatment that was required to bring him back to health. She then refused to reimburse me and consequently I took her to small claims court and was awarded the Vet fees and court costs.
I then contacted the Canadian Kennel Club. Following the submission of paperwork and many telephone calls, a date was set for a hearing. The Canadian Kennel Club revoked Bonnie Saul's licence for 3 years. Bonnie Saul did not attend the hearing nor did she send a representative.
I have complete documentation regarding the small claims court and Canadian Kennel Club decisions and will share this information.
