At the time I was single and too busy and had no time to put any effort into the dating scene. A friend had joined one and had good luck. Although, not with this company.
So I chose to join a dating service that appearently been in business for a while. After the meeting with their rep and the whole speel about "sincere singles" I decided, "What the heck"
So I join, $500 and change. I recieve a phone call from them with a match about two days later. It was a match alright, a phone conversation with a woman from hell. So she hounds me for a week. That finally stops after I complain to the rep.
After that, I never recieved a phone call from the service saying "we are working on your file, nothing" I never heard from them for about 3 months.
Finally I call them and they tell me there is no match for me with what I am looking for. I find that odd!
So I ask for my money back or some kind of refund. I suggested half of the amount I payed. No way, I was told. I have put my account with them on hold.
You would think that maybe they would have found a match by now and contacted me. Just to see if I was maybe interested. No way!
So I feel I was short changed and to just hand someone over $ 500.00 and get one appearent match. I think is robbery!
I am happily involved with a great woman, thanks to a friend. Would like to warm others, If you live in Ontario, Toronto and Barrie areas. Stay clear of this service! It is truely, A Ripoff!!!
