Came across this report and has to add my 2 cents worth.
Bought hardwood flooring with Simpsons 3 years ago and was not
happy with the installation.
All the work in prepping the area done by the homeowner in an established
residence. Clean and tidy.
However, installers from Simpsons insisted that cutting the flooring
was to be done inside the home!! You can imagine the layer of wood
dust on every surface! Also told that acclimating the hardwood was
not required prior to install. Without that done the floor has warping since this was done
in February. Person that sold us the floor and arranged install was informed and asked to
Inspect the work that same day. Offer of a cleaning service was made but we declined.
Should not have been done that way to begin with!!
Consumers be sure to have all laminate/ hardwood acclimated to your home before
installation and that they respect your living space.
