Rude, was not able to move furniture, and kept deposit!

Had a very negative experience trying to move with Western Canadian Movers.

After confirming by e-mail and discussing over the phone with the booking agent the list of items to be moved, this company was not able to fit all my items on the truck they sent. What was more insulting was the driver spent over 20 minutes yelling at me (on the street and in my home) that his list of items to move was not accurate. He told me I had too many pieces and could not accommodate me.

Also, he left an extremely condescending message on my voicemail prior to arriving to my apartment, which set a poor tone to the day. After speaking with the booking agent on the phone they did suggest that they would come back later in the day when they had emptied the truck, but the driver was extremely upset by this change and I could hear him yelling in the lobby of my building with someone on his cell phone.

In the end, the trust I had in this company to move my belongings without causing substantial damage was broken. I found the driver they sent to be extremely unprofessional and a poor representative for the company. When I spoke with the booking agent to cancel the move, he agreed to refund my $300 deposit. However, it has been over a month and the company has NOT returned my deposit. Now I am out $300 for a service they did not provide.

Would not recommend dealing with Western Canadian Movers.
