I was included in a photo shoot that was based on an agreement between Valerie Vondisianos and my personal trainer. Valerie advised me that according to that agreement, my trainer would receive 4 photos of me and she would sell me a CD of the rest of the photos.
Between the photo shoot and the day I was scheduled to receive my photos, there was a disagreement between them. At that point, Valerie refused to allow me to purchase the CD. She advised me that she would continue with the agreement and that the trainer would receive those 4 photos but only after she spoke with the trainer. When I followed up, Valerie advised that she would not be releasing any photos of me whatsoever.
I was astounded by each communication from Valerie. She was extremely unprofessional, telling me details of her agreement and argument with the trainer, it was very uncomfortable and completely frustrating that she would complain about a broken agreement to me when she was doing the same to me. Although I believe it was unfair that she would punish me because of an issue that did not involve me, she has the right to choose not to sell me the photos. But by far, the greatest issue I have with her is her lack of professional behaviour. I was appalled at the way she communicated with me.
There are lots of better photographers who know how to treat a customer professionally. I recommendfinding one of them.
