We purchased two wedding suits at about 1000.00 each. We had to travel to the wedding leaving on August 20. Despite the cost of these outfits we needed to arrange alterations on our own following delivery of the suits. I set up a seamstress to do alterations end of July as we were assured that the suits would be complete by end of July. That promise shifted to; "they will be factory complete end of July now it will take 10-14 days to ship it from Ontario to Alberta". Wedding was sept 4 in another province necessitating travel. When the suits arrived they were not as ordered. Silk camis and trim were replaced by fortrel. The fabric change on the camis made them unwearable as the waist was stiff sticking out rather than draping. At the last minute I located a seamstress to do not only alterations but to sew a new top that would work with the suit. The store was informed of all of this in writing.
Six weeks later zero response. This was pretty typical of the service. Promises and assurances are all up front. Once they have your money and you are committed, in terms of the garment, the service disappears. In fact calls for information were treated as annoyances. They seem to anticipate that wedding purchases are a one time event thus have no need to retain customer loyalty for future purchases. I would not recommend this store for an event as imporatnt as your wedding. It is stressful enough planning a large wedding without having to deal with incorrect delivery dates, locating seamstresses that can do alterations and remain flexible to aforementioned variable delivery dates, finally getting the outfits only to find that silk has been replaced by fortrel, the style is changed significantly and a no show reply from Parisian is the only thing a customer will receive.
