So I am just putting this on here to make other people aware of this company and person running it. Not to sure if anyone else has had any problems, but I am pretty sure there has been. So me and my wife (fiancee at the time) she is American and I am Canadian so we wanted to move to Canada. And instead of filling out the applications ourselves, we decieded to have someone fill them out for us, that way we can get them done right the first time, instead of filling them out and in a few months finding out we did something wrong. So I came across this website, emailed him, and he seemed to be very knowledgeable with what we had to do, I would hope so considering he is an immigration lawyer.
I asked him what we had to do, and go about it, the time frame normal questions like that, I had no clue what we had to do. He sends me a retainer and the price for the whole process seemed a little spendy but figured whatever mid as well just get it done, We tell him what we want to do, when we want to get married and when we would like for her to live here by.
We send the money away for the retainer, and had an agreement to send payments every month. and in that it said that he can refuse services if payments not made with in so much time and everything, no problem with that. then it took him a little while to send us what we had to fill out, filled it out and emailed him stating so. Ended up having to call him about 5 days later to tell him cause i never got anything back from him saying they were done or that he got them. So he finally sends us an email stating that the applications we filled out it wouldn't get approved more then likely. Ends up we filled out applications for conjugal visits. why? I have no clue. so back to emailing him to ask why. no answer. call him, and finally get him on the phone and just says something about the Goverment implimenting a new immigration law and blah blah pretty much.
After that I email him back ask him what else we can do. he tells me that we would have to say we are married, and do it that way. so ok. wait till we are married no problem. So then I ask him if there is going to be a price differance for the applications at all. says no, and ask if we should continue to make payments ofcoarse says yes. so ok, thats no problem, so I ask him what we need to fill out, says he will get a list together for me and the applications we need to fill out with in a week, but says he doesn't know what the list will be cause he doesn't know what we have done or anything, so ok, 2 weeks pass, nothing. 3 weeks, nothing. so I get a feeling were I am getting ripped off. so do I want to send a payment? no. me and my fiancee talk about it, decide, not to deal with him no more, so we email him, say that we would like our retainer back, cause he hasn't done anything for us. says well call me and we can discuss this further. So after talking with my fiancee for a little while. we decide hey just continue to go through with this instead of finding someone else, so then we tell him going to continue with the payments and get this done. so i send one. and in this time we ended up getting married, so we tell him he asks if we can fax the marriage certificate cause they application couldnt be processed until then. so ok ask him some questions about it, and then he tells us, she needs her passport. this is when I get really angry, cause i asked him all the documentation that we need for this but has he sent it? no. but my wife talks to him, tells him we need to make more payments for him to tell us. then tells me in an email that he sent them to us along time ago, I saved everyone and not a thing. and then tells me that we would of had a list of documents if me and my wife would of filled out or original applications and told him in the first place, which we did. for conjugal visits (don't know why we had to do that but yeah) so get angry and say we wasted all this time basically, and he hasn't done anything for us. which he hasn't. he couldn't even send us a list of documents that we need for her. such as a passport, finger prints, back ground check, medical check, things like that. i ended up finding out later what we needed to get, so we tell him we want out money back, cause we feel he hasn't provided us with any service that has been correct, and couldn't even tell us what to do to get everything, and this was months later, the money order I sent got lost in the mail. I am glad about that, cause i canceled it but then he tells me in an email that he wont give me anything back, and we should be happy that we canceled the money order and have that. and that haven't sent out marriage certificate to him so we seem reluctant on sending him information. (which we don't have a lot of access to a fax machine, so we wanted to just send everything at once. like the list of documents that he failed and couldn't even tell us what we needed) we never got our retainer back, and canceled our money order. which I am glad that we did at least get that, and also glad that I never did just pay it in full, which i was going to, but since i had the choice why not just do payments. I would personally never deal with him again, he lied to us numerous times, I am doubting he is even an immigration lawyer. and I think he just scams money and when you try and get information out of him that you need he just gives you the run around, that is all that we ever got from him. I wouldn't be surprized if he has done this numerous times to other people. but if your going to hire someone to fill this stuff out for you, do your home work, and check online what has to be done, so you aren't getting the run around and out money.
