This corner store has 2 boards advertising the amount in the local lotteries (Super7 and Lotto 6-49). No problem with the board in front of their store.
However, there's another board at another entrance of the plaza which for the longest time advertised the Super 7 as a $15 million winner and the Lotto 6-49 jackpot as $99 million (the 6-49's never been that high).
Upon being informed of this often by many people the owners of this store refused to change the sign. So the local media was contacted. That day the $99 million sign was immediately removed and replaced by a $4 million jackpot notice (the correct amount) and the Super 7 $15 million jackpot sign was removed and not replaced by anything.
Ever since the store owners have left the Lotto 6-49 as $4 million and have not put any amount for the Super 7.
That is pure and simple FALSE ADVERTISING as they refuse to update that board.
So the next time you see the jackpot amount go elsewhere to another business which won't lie to you how much that week's lotto jackpot is.
