Pardon Society of Canada
Shell Company to Promote Express Pardons?

In May of 2011, I sent an email to this organization after doing a lot of investigative work, which revealed a lot of very troubling facts about this organization, and how they conduct themselves. After sending the email twice and waiting 3 weeks, I never did receive any response from anyone in the organization. I ask that you read my email (see below) and then judge for yourself, whether this organization exists to help people find a pardon company to properly assist them, or to simply promote one company above all others.

&&&&&&&&&&&--

Hello,

I read on your website that your members must offer a money-back guarantee if the pardon is rejected. I can understand this if the forms are completed wrong by the company; then they would have to be redone at no extra cost. However, if the client is not eligible due to not paying a fine or for some other reason, why should the company have to give the person a full refund, after doing a lot of work and paying for things like Court and Police Records?

Also, it says on the Parole Board's website: (https://www.pbc-clcc.gc.ca/prdons/fraud-eng.shtml)

&&&&&&&--

"Fraud Alert!

It has come to the PBC’s attention that some pardon applicants are receiving false and misleading information about the pardons process.

In an effort to better inform the public, the PBC would like to clarify the following points:

Using a third-party service provider to apply for a pardon:

will not guarantee you a pardon,

will not accelerate the review of your application by the PBC, and

will not convey a special status on your application.

Claims that suggest otherwise are false and misleading."

&&&&&&&--

In addition to the above, I did a search for many prominent, long lasting and well-respected Pardon Services companies on your website, but found that none of them were members of your society. However, a company that makes the same false and misleading claims as are listed above, is a member, and seems to be the only member. Of course I am talking about Express Pardons, the company that brought your society to my attention, and which appears to be located on the same block as your firm.

I then did a search to see who owns the domain name you use, but found that information was all private, as was the names of your Board Members... I found those things to be very odd since your society makes claims to "Openly identify the nature, location, and ownership" of each business.

I must now say that I am now questioning your company's role in this entire process, and wondering if your "secret society" with hidden membership fees is legitimate, or if it's just a very elaborate shell company that was created in whole or in part to promote Express Pardons; which seems to be another of the many G0-DADDY websites that pop up, make lots of promises that they can't keep, offer limited time discounts, and then disappear after a couple of years, leaving a lot of greatly disappointed people in their wake.

I eagerly await your response.

Thank you.
