The manager of L.A. Fitness Kitchener, Stacey, is arrogant and a liar and doesn't care about her members at all. My daughter left her I-Pod in the aerobics room and it was turned in to the front desk, as stated by her employee. The employee stated that it was put in the safe and could be picked up later. According to Stacey, that is not the case. My daughter had two witnesses that state that the employee saw the I-Pod and actually described it and drew it on a piece of paper. She had my daughter meet with the empoyee and herself to resolve this and nothing was resolved. The employee seemed nervous and stated that my daughter and her friends had misunderstood the conversation. I am not expecting to have the club be responsible for lost items, but when an item is returned to the front desk, it is the responsibility of the club to put it in safe keeping for the member to pick up later. She offered my daughter a gym bag to compensate for the loss of the I-Pod. The story has changed so many times and she has had a different conversation with my daughter and then reported to me a totally different recount of events. She states that she doesn't care if a member cancels and there is no one above her to deal with. Well, there is a person members can contact if they have issues with the club, and that person is Mike Rickert. He is the District V.P. and he is at that location every morning from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A manager who misrepresents the company's integrity, does not deserve my business!!
