This is a collection agency, that i believe is a giant scam... long story short - me and my boyfriend were living together and when i moved out after the break up i had myself taken off the lease - where he then stopped paying rent, so they called ME, and say that "even though the paper says you off the lease is effective as of OCT. 1st, you are still responsible for the rent until the 31st" ---- uh... no? i was off on the first, why should i pay the rent for that month? when i asked him to give me 2 weeks to get ahold of my ex and possibly a lawyer, he told me "if you put 200$ down today, i will give you 2 weeks" to where i replied "no..? i want to talk to a lawyer first, this is NOT my debt, it is my ex's and i will contact you within 2 weeks to see what can be done" so i had my lawer call when he called he let him know he was my lawyer, the guy seemed nice and polite, as soon as he was told "i am recording this call" the guy hung up!! what kind of shady collections agency is this place?!!?!
