I just wanted to share my story so people would know how the excellant customer service workers are treated at ice.com
They have their agents working so hard to go "above and beyond" for the customers and to "provide a positive customer experience" but then give you a hard time or fire you on the spot for having a high talk time ( so basically you have to make sure the customer gets everything they need from the call but also kick them off the phone asap.
Durning Christmas every year they hire numerous employees to help with the rush, telling them that they will have a job until march.......... Needless to say this company fired most emplyees on DECEMBER 24!!!!!!!!!!!! CHRISTMAS EVE, well merry christams to you too!
That is not even the worst of it, I received the message that I (and 20 others) are fired on a voicemail. I had just worked for them from 8am to midnight as they were in desperate need of overtime last minute and they next day after work, the night before christmas they fire me by voicemail and I was told they do not want the fired employees returning to the office to get their things! until after New Years
I am taking the time to write this because I worked really really hard for this company in hopes they would hire me full time. I really put my 100% with each and every customer and in the end Ice.com had no regard or respect, for their employees whatsoever.
So imagine how they feel about their customers?
I think you can find a better, more respectful company to do business with, I know I can :)
