JDBlackwell
Failed to get payment

I worked for JDBlackwell for a brief time, during this time I did 20 hrs of work in 2 days. I was supposed to be paid commission at $20-$45 a sale depending on the type of sale. I made one sale, which was supposed to be $45.

I was never paid. I did sign a contract saying that I was not an employee of JDBlackwell but was an at will contractor. I paid for my bus tickets and food expenses for the 2 days totaling about ~$7 for bus tickets and ~$15. I thought that I would at least get some money, but no, my payment never came.

I contacted JDBlackwell and he assured me that he would get my money, he never replyed. Over 3 months later he had not responded. I contacted him again and he asked me a couple of questions. I asked for payment and he said that his company has discontinued providing Yak Canada because of poor customer service.

There was a mix-up with my sale, I was assigned a different number than the one I was originality using. I asked him to e-mail a copy of that and provide me with the name of the person I was to seek payment from. He did not respond. I contacted him about a week later and he still did not respond.

The fact that he did not respond led me to believe he had taken it or given it to one of the other employees. I have copies of his email messages and may make a Youtube video if I get ticked off about it again.

How his business works
*****************
1) Hires new people
2) Once you have about 3 weeks under your belt and a required # of sales you start to be trained for leadership
3) You become a leader, you are paid extra from each sale your pack makes.
4) Once you train 2 leaders you move up the ladder and get a percentage of those leaders and the people under them
5) The business fails, your restarted to the lower leader position or employee, you never can make it up to the next level

Trust me, don't work for this guy, he is an scammer, all the business he works for are pyramid schemes that are just barely legal. On top of that he obviously doesn't research what normal people think of the product he offers because why else would so many of the companies he recruits for, fail?

Just for the record to JDBlackwell
No sh*t you were not legally my employer, I still hold you personally responsible for not getting paid. I also hold you personally responsible for the shady business practices of going into neighborhoods marked no solicitors under superiors pressure.
